As many have discovered, with Ambitions and the latest patches, there has been an update to how we install .package files. A Mods folder can now be kept in Documents\Electronic Arts\Sims 3 instead of fiddling with framework files or tools, that prove difficult for some, or having to remember every patch to update said framework and the confusion ( Read more... )

I've noticed since updating to the latest patch and having to move my custom content to the new location in My Documents that my sims3packs are MIA. I also had to reinstall my whole game recently due to a missing .dll file, which is why I had to update to the latest patch, so I'm not sure if that has something to do with why the sims3packs aren't ( Read more... )

Hi, so I'm having a bit of trouble with custom content. It doesn't seem to work in my game. I recently got the base game a few weeks ago and I installed it both on my mac (laptop) and my desktop PC. I'm having a bit of trouble with the Sims 3 Launcher. I finally realized how to install sims3packs, and that is with the launcher. That being said, some of my custom content won't install. This might seem like a bit of an odd request, but I'm really after some Viking CC for TS3 - specifically the helmet (with the horns of course!) for females and males. I've tried looking everywhere I know but to no avail.

ANY help would be MUCH appreciated.

None of my CC seems to be working in my WA :(

I've googled and checked the tags but haven't been able to find an answer. I just got WA and High End Loft and did a fresh uninstall/reinstall. Now I want to re-add my CC (which I backed up like a good girl) but I'm not sure if I put the frame work into the WA folder or the base game folder. Can someone tell me where to put it?

Most of my CC doesn't seem to be working and I have no idea why. The game launcher says it's installed and yet it's not in the game.

What am I doing wrong?
